LAMP Signature Forums

Forums are LAMP’s invitation only, signature events series dedicated to providing policy education, leadership development and networking opportunities for state policymakers from around the country. From Los Angeles to Washington, DC, Forum attendees are engaged state legislators that have demonstrated track records of actionable engagement and dynamic leadership. LAMP Forums are organized around dedicated policy theme such as energy innovation and environmental conservation and have engaged policy makers from Alaska to North Carolina on these important issue areas.

LAMP:Virtual

The LAMP:Virtual series is a collaborative, virtual convening providing policy education, leadership development and networking opportunities for state policy makers. These online convenings bring state legislative leaders, federal government officials, corporate executives and academic experts to enhance policy knowledge on the nation’s most important topics of the day including technology, energy and national security issues. Attendees also have the opportunity to engage on leadership development trainings such as crisis response and effective communication.

These exclusive, invitation only virtual events are designed to facilitate policy information exchange for an elite group of legislators to brainstorm, compare notes, and develop ideas that enable dynamic leadership and actionable engagement on national issues affecting every state from the COVID-19 pandemic response and economic recovery to the latest considerations in national security and beyond.

LAMP Forum x LA

LAMP Forum x LA brought together lawmakers from around the country for three days of engagement, dialogue and leadership building between state policymakers and a diverse group of experts private sector leaders, government officials, and members of the academic community. The LA Forum focused on topics surrounding energy policy including clean-tech, innovation and conservation issues and provided attendees with the opportunity to collaborate, share insights, engage with experts, analyze and workshop viable solutions for their constituents back home.
LAMP:Virtual w. Chairman Ajit Pai

In one of our most popular virtual format events, Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Ajit Pai joined legislators to discuss the FCC's goal to bring the nearly 30 million Americans without internet access online, expanding broadband across America. Discussions explored the sudden shift to digital technology during the COVID-19 pandemic, and connecting districts to critical economic opportunity, job creation, education, and civic engagement via the internet.
LAMP Cocktails and Conversation

Supporting its mission of expanding policy networks opportunities LAMP regularly hosts events designed to foster connection between its members and policy makers at all levels in a relaxed setting. Our Feburary event was held at the exclusive Capital Hill Club in Washington, DC. Attendees included congressional staffers, policy experts, government officials and LAMP members. Congrats to the winners of our Rainey Center S'Well water bottle drawing, Veer Shah from the office of Rep. Haley Stevens and Tommy McLaughlin of American Legislative Exchange Council.
